We suggest that viewers first read the four earlier reviews, especially Guptara's Ten-8 article, and look at the annotations for web-viewers in the first three reviews. This will give them a better understanding of the historical and geographical context in which Janah's photojournalism took place. Ramachandran's illustrated Frontline article will also be of help in this, but should be read after reading the first three reviews and the linked explanatory notes therein.
